Archmere Students Place Fourth at 2018 Science Olympiad Competition

The Archmere Science Olympiad Team competed in the Delaware state meet last weekend and placed 4th overall. Over 60 teams and a thousand high school students competed as their creativity mixed with formula and theory and covered just about every discipline across the science spectrum. Medals are awarded to the top 10 in the state finals. Individual medals were earned at the state meet by Abel Chen, Lauren Chua, Gillen Curren, Jerry Enverso, Natasha Gengler, Becca Gomes, Becca Lewis-Carpenter, Tully Liu, Emily Lugg, Annie Martino, Madyson McDougal, Parker Vakili, Anna Zdunek, and Grace Zhang.  

Individual medals were won at the invitationals by Gillen Curren, Natasha Gengler, Becca Gomes, Anh Ho, Helen Laster, Sanjay Long, Emily Lugg, Annie Martino, Julia Prendergast, Andrew Shi and Lisa Zeng.
