Cassie Paterson '18 Wins First Place at Delaware State Employees Art Exhibition

Cassie Paterson '18 was awarded 1st place in the teen division of the National Arts Program Delaware State Employees Art Exhibition held at Delaware State University. Her piece was titled "Where does she belong". Sponsored by The National Arts Program in support and cooperation with the State of Delaware and the Delaware Division of the Arts, the exhibit is judged by professional artists and visual art professionals. The Delaware State Employee Art Exhibition is designed to give artists at all skill levels a unique opportunity to exhibit their creative work and to compete for cash prizes. Participants must be a current employee, or immediate family member of a current employee (parent, spouse, sibling, or child), of the State of Delaware.

Cassie will be awarded $150 and her artwork will be on display, along with over 220 pieces, through March 19th. Gallery Hours are: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm; Wed 9:00 am – 6:00 pm; Sat, (3/3 and 3/10) 12:00 – 4:00 pm.
