Lauren Chua '18 Receives National Gold Key Award at Carnegie Hall

2018 Archmere graduate Lauren Chua has been awarded a National Gold Key Award for her acrylic painting "Reflections". Only about 150 national Gold Keys are awarded by the National Scholastics Scholarship Art Awards Program. Lauren was honored onstage at Carnegie Hall this month, and her painting will be exhibited in the national exhibition at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. Through the Awards, students receive opportunities for recognition, exhibition, publication, and scholarships. Students across America submitted nearly 350,000 original works this year in 29 different categories of art and writing.
