Feedback from last year’s sale:
There are no words that can accurately describe the experience of garage sale week. I brought an anxious mom of an incoming freshman with me Thursday night. The garage sale represents the true spirit of Archmere: hardwork, dedication, humor, friendship, laughter, respect, and philanthropy. Lessons we want our children to learn are taught through actions. That freshman mom is much less anxious and excited by her new "auk some" family she is joining. Thanks for all the hard work and leadership.

First of all as you know you all should be so proud of yourselves with the success of this event in so many ways. Not only the money raised and the friendships made for the Archmere Community, but for the service provided to the outside community. So many people travelled from distances and bought things that they were so thrilled to have. One lady came from South Philly and bought five comforters, one for each grand child. Another group of ladies were buying tools and saws and paint sprayers, and asking us what they were. Over $42,000.00 worth of discarded items have now found new homes.
