Lauren Chua '18 To Perform in Swan Lake This Weekend
Archmere junior Lauren Chua has been asked to be in the First State Ballet Theater's production of Swan Lake this weekend. She has been chosen to dance in all four acts with the professional company members, which is a distinct honor that not many dancers are privileged to experience. The performance will take place at The Grand on Saturday, October 22nd at 7 pm and Sunday, October 23rd at 2 pm. Student rates can be obtained for half of the ticket price at the Grand in person. Lauren will be performing in Act 1- Court, Act 2- Swan corps, Act 3- Neapolitan Dance and Act 4- Swan corps.
The First State Ballet Theater is the only professional ballet company in the state of Delaware. This coming January, Lauren will also be competing At YAGP - Youth American Grand Prix for Ballet.
