Twenty-two Students Compete in the National French Exam

Congratulations to the twenty-two French students who elected to compete in the National French Contest on their stellar performance! This challenging exam, sponsored by the American Association Teachers of French, tests grammar, vocabulary, auditory skills and reading comprehension. Over 40,240 students participated in the national exam in March. The number in parentheses represents the placement in the State of Delaware.
Level II-A: 
Silver Medal: Isabelle Kim (1) and 9th place in the nation  
Bronze Medal: Celeste Vail and Gretchen Tonn tied (2) and 17th place in the nation
