Volleyball Defeats Newark Charter to Advance in DIAA Tournament

Archmere volleyball (currently ranked no. 2) took down Newark Charter in four sets on Saturday. This was the second round of the 2016 DIAA Volleyball Tournament. Newark was able to take the first set, but were unable to keep up with the Auks' momentum by the second set.

Freshman Julia Kochie led Archmere with 14 kills and 18 digs, while junior Lexi Kelly chipped in 11 kills, 3 aces, and 6 blocks. The Auks will face No. 10 Tatnall tonight at 7:30 pm at St. Mark's High School.
