Erica Jackey '08 led Washington University's Cross Country team to victory in the 2011 NCAA Division III men’s and women’s cross country championships.
Archmere graduate Erica Jackey '08 leads the Women's Cross Country team at Washington University in St. Louis to its first-ever National Title in school history at the 2011 NCAA Division III Championship. Erica finished the 6K course in a season-best time of 21:04.21 to place fourth overall out of 296 runners, the highest finish for a Washington U. women’s runner in school history. In addition to this accomplishment Erica earned the following awards during this years senior season; (3) time UAA Conference Athlete of the Week, First place finish at the Brooks Invitational in Wisconsin on 10/15 and at the UAA Conference Championship in Chicago on 10/29, Second Place finish at the Mid-Western Regionals in Rock Island, IL on 11/12.
