Archmere Juniors Named Finalists in Entrepreneur Competition

Archmere juniors Devon O'Dwyer, Payas Parab, and Raylin Xu competed in the preliminary round of the Diamond Challenge for High School Entrepreneurs at Delaware Technical Community College on March 31, 2014. They placed second in their division and were named finalists in the competition, set to present again in the final round on April 30, 2014 at the University of Delaware.

The Diamond Challenge competition gives students real world experience in developing a business plan. Students present their ideas to a panel of judges, comprised of local business professionals. Business plans are judged on their feasibility and growth potential. Finalists in the competition are awarded $500 each.
