About Archmere

From the Head of School's Desk

Welcome to Archmere Academy. For nearly a century, Archmere has been a place where young men and women are challenged to think deeply, pursue excellence, and grow into people of character and purpose. Our rigorous academic program is complemented by a rich array of opportunities in the arts, athletics, service, and leadership, ensuring that each student is known, encouraged, and inspired to discover their unique gifts.

For me, Archmere is more than a school - it is home. As a member of the Class of 1989, I know firsthand the transformative power of an Archmere education. Through the sacrifices of my parents and the opportunities afforded by this remarkable community, I was able to receive an education that shaped both my personal and professional journey in ways my family could not otherwise have imagined. The values I learned here - faith, compassion, integrity, and a commitment to serving others - continue to guide my life and work each day.

At the heart of Archmere is our Catholic and Norbertine tradition, which calls us to educate not only the mind but also the heart. We seek to form graduates who are intellectually curious, spiritually grounded, and prepared to make a meaningful difference in the world. I invite you to get to know our wonderful school and discover the exceptional community that has changed so many lives, including my own.
