Archmere Academy is a Catholic, Norbertine college preparatory school, valuing community, respect, zeal, reverence, and wisdom. Nurturing body and soul, mind and heart, Archmere focuses on the whole person through academic excellence, faith reflection, social development, and service to others. Inspired by its heritage, Archmere cultivates empathetic leaders- young men and women prepared for every good work.

Since opening its doors in 1932, Archmere Academy is known for its rigorous academic program. The academic disciplines foster critical thinking skills, strengthen analytical reasoning, and foster intellectual creativity through each department.   • Baseball Team Picks Up Win at Concord

    On April 7th on the road, the Archmere baseball team was tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, and the Concord Raiders had the bases loaded with nobody out. In a thrilling back and forth battle, the Archmere team cemented the win with a score in the seventh inning, leaving with a 4-3 victory.

  • Archmere Students Shine at Youth in Government Conference

    This past weekend, Archmere Academy students took part in the annual Youth in Government (YIG) Conference in Dover, Delaware, an immersive three-day program sponsored by the YMCA that brings together student delegations from across the state. Participants step into the roles of government officials, simulating the legislative, judicial, and executive branches while working in Delaware’s actual government buildings.

  • Sophia Silverman ’28 Awarded National Gold Medal for Fashion Design

    The Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, the nonprofit organization that presents the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, has recognized tenth grader Sophia Silverman ’28 with a National Gold Medal in the Fashion Design category for an illuminated dress entitled “Tableware Exoskeleton” she constructed out of paper plates.
