Archmere Academy is a Catholic, Norbertine college preparatory school, valuing community, respect, zeal, reverence, and wisdom. Since opening its doors in 1932, Archmere Academy is known for its rigorous academic program.   • Golf Team Places Third in State

    The Archmere golf team traveled to Baywood Greens Golf Club in Long Neck, Delaware on May 30 and 31 to compete in the DIAA State Golf Championships. They placed third overall with a school record for lowest score at the State Tournament and just 4 shots behind the champions. During the two - day State Tournament, sophomore Danielle Higbee made headlines for scoring a hole-in-one on hole 6. Meredith Finger ’26 placed second overall, while Danielle Higbee ’25 placed third.

  • Girls Track and Field Place Third at States, Highest Finish in Ten Years

    On May 19 and 20, the Archmere track and field team competed at Dover High School for the DIAA State Track & Field Championships. The girls finished 3rd in Division 2, the highest team finish in more than a decade. The boys battled through some injuries and setback to finish 14th, respectively.

  • Baseball Closes Out Season with All-Conference Honors

    Congratulations to the Archmere baseball team for a successful 11-7 season! The team qualified for the DIAA State Tournament after a resounding 14-4 win over Conrad, but fell in the first round to Appoquinimink. Notable matches this season also included wins over Concord High School, Tower Hill and the Charter School of Wilmington. Several players earned Diamond State All - Conference awards.
