Our Mission
Archmere Academy is a Catholic, Norbertine college preparatory school, valuing community, respect, zeal, reverence, and wisdom. Nurturing body and soul, mind and heart, Archmere focuses on the whole person through academic excellence, faith reflection, social development, and service to others. Inspired by its heritage, Archmere cultivates empathetic leaders- young men and women prepared for every good work.

Since opening its doors in 1932, Archmere Academy is known for its rigorous academic program. The academic disciplines foster critical thinking skills, strengthen analytical reasoning, and foster intellectual creativity through each department. Parents and caregivers choose Archmere for their children because choosing our door opens others. Students choose Archmere because of the opportunities available to them.
We strive to inspire students to challenge themselves, think critically, and ultimately reach their greatest potential. Kate Singley '14 Speaks to Women's Leadership Club
On August 28th, Kate Singley '14 returned to Archmere to speak to the Women's Leadership Club. The Club hosted an entrepreneurship chat with Kate, CEO and owner of CupKate's Bakery in Greenville, DE, as the first in their "Passion into Profits" Women in Business series. Kate brought her amazing baked goods and cupcakes for the entire WLC, and spoke about her inspiring and successful business journey and brand collaborations with Kendra Scott, Anthropologie, & Lily Pulitzer. Two Archmere Graduates Awarded Prestigious Fulbright Grants to Spain
Read MoreArchmere Academy is proud to announce that 2022 graduates Jocelyn Zavala Garcia and Alexandra Harrington have both been selected for a highly competitive Fulbright U.S. Student Program grant for the 2026–2027 academic year. Jocelyn and Alexandra will travel to Spain as part of the program, which is widely recognized as the U.S. government’s flagship international academic exchange initiative.
