For College Representatives

Fall College Visits

Archmere welcomes college representatives from across the country and around the world between the months of September and November. On an average year approximately 140 colleges and universities visit to talk with our students. We greatly appreciate the time admission offices dedicate to educating our students and staff on their particular school and hope that representatives will also share their knowledge about the process in order to reiterate what students are hearing from our office. Seniors are welcome to attend college visits with permission from their teacher and juniors are invited to choose to attend up to two visits with teacher permission. The College Counseling staff will make every effort to meet with all college representatives during their visit.

Archmere is using CIALFO Explore to schedule all college visits. If you are having trouble scheduling please contact Catherine Reigner at (302) 798-6632 x863.

Directions to Archmere

While Archmere’s mailing address is 3600 Philadelphia Pike, the entry to campus is on Manor Avenue. After turning on Manor from Philadelphia Pike turn left at the 3rd gate opening. Make an immediate left as you enter the parking lot and our visitor parking is next to our flagpole. All guests are asked to sign in with the Main Office located in the Student Life Center adjacent to the parking lot. Our offices are immediately across from the Main Office.

Archmere is located twelve miles from the Philadelphia Airport, generally about a 20-25 minute drive.

Programming

The College Counseling staff coordinates over twenty college admission and career related programs per year and regularly invite college admission representatives to participate. In addition to our campus programming we advertise and see regular attendance at the following programs: Wilmington Case Studies (May), Delaware Association of Independent Schools (DAIS) College Fair (St. Marks High School, April), NACAC Philadelphia College Fair (November), New Castle County College Fair at University of Delaware (October), and the PACAC Main Line Fair (April).
