If you attended Archmere Academy, you are automatically part of the Alumni Association. As an Archmere alum, you are the school’s living history – you carry with you the traditions and heritage that make Archmere unique. You came here to learn and grow as a young adult, receive an immeasurable education, and prepare yourself for college. As a member of the Alumni Association, we ask that you keep in contact and encourage you to be active within the Archmere community.
 
Your insight is key to continuing the momentum of an active alumni program offering alumni networking, social opportunities, programming to connect with current Archmere students, and more. All of which contributes to a stronger and more spirited Archmere community.

  • Kate Singley '14 Speaks to Women's Leadership Club

    On April 28th, Kate Singley '14 returned to Archmere to speak to the Women's Leadership Club. The Club hosted an entrepreneurship chat with Kate, CEO and owner of CupKate's Bakery in Greenville, DE, as the first in their "Passion into Profits" Women in Business series. Kate brought her amazing baked goods and cupcakes for the entire WLC, and spoke about her inspiring and successful business journey and brand collaborations with Kendra Scott, Anthropologie, & Lily Pulitzer. She also shared words of wisdom about finding creative business opportunities, and staying true to your vision and dream.

  • Two Archmere Graduates Awarded Prestigious Fulbright Grants to Spain

    Archmere Academy is proud to announce that 2022 graduates Jocelyn Zavala Garcia and Alexandra Harrington have both been selected for a highly competitive Fulbright U.S. Student Program grant for the 2026–2027 academic year. Jocelyn and Alexandra will travel to Spain as part of the program, which is widely recognized as the U.S. government’s flagship international academic exchange initiative.

    Daniel Hickey, Ed.D., ’89 Appointed Head of School-Elect—Comes Home to Archmere Academy

    Important Message from the Archmere Board of Trustees: 

    The Archmere Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Hickey, Ed.D. ’89 as Archmere Academy’s next Head of School, effective July 1, 2026. After an extensive national and international search, the board determined Dr. Hickey as the candidate best suited to lead Archmere into its next chapter. His deep ties to Archmere, extensive leadership experience, and lifelong commitment to Catholic education uniquely position him to guide our community forward while honoring the school’s mission and rich traditions.

  • Danyele Dove ’93 Awarded Dorothy Height Justice Award

    This month, Danyele Dove ’93, Archmere Academy Director of Counseling and DEI, was presented with the Dorothy Height Justice Award in honor of her remarkable dedication to the YWCA of Delaware. The award, named for the iconic racial justice revolutionary Dorothy Height, is specifically for an honoree who embodies the same passion and zeal as Ms. Height. Dorothy Height is openly acknowledged as the first person and woman who was a leader during the civil rights movement to recognize inequality for women and African-Americans concurrently, as the two concerns had been viewed separately prior to Height’s revitalization. The award recognizes unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and human dignity.
