Job Description
Archmere Academy seeks a Full-Time Biology/Chemistry Teacher to begin Fall 2026. An undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field is required, though a graduate degree is strongly preferred. Collaboration, innovation, organization, flexibility, and exceptional interpersonal skills are required. In addition to teaching sections of core biology and chemistry classes, the successful candidate will teach the biology component of Advanced Cancer Research and Analysis, a course exclusive to Archmere taught in collaboration with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Preferred Skills & Demonstrated Knowledge
Graduate degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field
Teaching experience in biology and/or chemistry
Additional Responsibilities and Expectations
Faculty are expected to be involved in at least one extracurricular activity or athletics program.
