Indoor Track and Field Team Continues to Shatter Records

It was aother great night under the lights at The Armory in the Big Apple at hte Purple Champion High School Invitational! The Archmere record book was rewritten by Josh Cox in the Shot Put with a throw of 47-2.5, which was good enough for 3rd overall and a qualifier for Indoor Nationals. Marlise Harris lowered her own school record in the 200m with a time of 26.85. Finally, the girls set a new school record in the Sprint Medley Relay (C. DePalma, K. Iroha, M. Harris, R. Horsey) with a time of 4:21.04 which also qualified them for Indoor Nationals. Kindred Ballard finished 3rd overall in the Shot Put and Ella Taggart won the unseeded section of the 1600m.
