Kathy Rosini Ferro '95 Visits Junior Portfolio Fashion Students

An accomplished alum, current Archmere parent, and industry professional, Kathy Rosini Ferro '95 returned to campus to offer individualized critiques and guidance on fashion design and construction. She worked closely with students in the Junior Portfolio Design class as they put the finishing touches on their found object apparel creations. Kathy also shared valuable insight into career pathways in fashion, speaking with Giancarlo Flaherty ’26 and Emily Juarez ’26 as they prepare to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology this fall.

A full-circle moment and an inspiring example of the Archmere community supporting the next generation of creatives.

Cultural Geography Field Trip

This semester, Cultural Geography students took their learning beyond the classroom with a visit to Kings and Queens of Liberian Cuisine .

From fufu and jollof rice to cassava fries, palm butter, potato greens, plantains, and attiéké, students explored the rich flavors of West African cuisine firsthand. Each semester the class votes on a restaurant to explore the differences among foods from different cultural regions.
