Archmere Students Spend Spring Break in Spain

Sixteen Archmere students enjoyed a ten-day exchange program in Zaragoza, Spain over Spring Break. This exchange program provides invaluable cultural, linguistic, and social experiences for all students involved. While in Zaragoza, the students attended class with their host families at Colegio Santa Ana and toured this historically important city. Since the exchange took place during the Holy Week celebrations, the students witnessed the profound Easter processions.  Some were even honored to process alongside their host families! Students also participated in excursions to Madrid and Toledo. During their trip, the students visited the Royal Palace, Prado Museum, and soccer stadium in Madrid as well as the Cathedral and a sword factory in Toledo. The students were accompanied by World Language and Cultures Teachers Señora Midgley, Señorita Deemer and Señorita Pérez.
