Sydney Niumataiwalu '19 Named Delaware Online Athlete of the Week
Archmere senior Sydney Niumataiwalu was recently named the Delaware Online Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance on the volleyball court, particularly in the games last week. Sydney had 26 assists, five kills and six digs in a 3-0 win over St. Mark’s, then had 29 assists, seven digs and four aces in a 3-1 win over Delaware Military Academy. The senior won an online vote over six other nominees.
The Archmere volleyball team is currently 14-1 heading into the DIAA State Tournament.
