Archmere Introduces "Winterim"

This week, the Archmere student body is participating in “Winterim”, an experiential learning opportunity beyond the traditional classroom setting that speaks to Archmere’s belief in educating the whole student. Held between Semesters 1 and 2, this 3-day break from the regular schedule of classes allows our students to enroll in some new, mini-courses created by our very talented and passionate faculty. The classes are offered on campus or off site at various locations.

Winterim emphasizes a creative, interdepartmental approach, allowing engaged students the chance to foster critical thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and leadership skills. Pursuing various interests outside the structure of Archmere’s academic curriculum, students are taking courses focused on everything from “Travel Writing” to “Cycling”, “Business Management” to “Cooking with Nonna”, “Cake Wars” to “Sports Analytics”, and everything in between. The interdepartmental approach allows for a fun, collaborative and character-building experience for the Archmere student.
