Isabella Gioffre, Fiona Teaney, and Madison Stewart Selected to Play in Blue/Gold Basketball Game

Archmere seniors Isabella (Izzy) Gioffre, Fiona Teaney, and Madison Stewart have been selected to play on the Blue team in the 22nd annual Blue-Gold basketball game on March 21 at the 76ers Fieldhouse.

The games will feature 30 girls and 30 boys, with the Blue teams representing schools primarily from New Castle County and the Gold teams comprised mostly of players from Kent and Sussex counties. The girls game will begin at 12:30 p.m., following by the boys game at 2:45.

Proceeds from the Blue-Gold basketball game will benefit Newark-based Cancer Care Connection, a group of oncology social workers which provides information, resources and counseling to people affected by cancer.
