Six Archmere Students Selected for All-State Orchestra

The Helena Raskob Arts Institute congratulates six Archmere students who auditioned for and were accepted to the Delaware All State Orchestra, sponsored by Delaware Music Educators Association. Avkaash Chevli ‘29 placed in first chair for Violin II, and Kathrine Wang ‘27 will serve as first chair for Viola. McKayla Hwang ‘27 is second chair for Violin I, with Joseph Zhang ‘29, Allison Qu ‘27, and Elizabeth Guo ‘29 also in the violin sections.
The Delaware All State Orchestra will perform in concert at 3:00 PM on February 21, 2026, at the Louis Redding Middle School in Middletown, Delaware.

Archmere Academy is home to the Helena Raskob Arts Institute. Founded in 2021, the Institute educates members of the Archmere community and beyond in music and the fine arts in a historic setting. Led by Mary Ellen Schauber, the Helena Raskob Arts Institute encompasses several groups, each with specific objectives and interests, but all related to the preservation and understanding of music and the fine arts.
