Darren Luo and Daniel Qi Named U.S. Presidential Scholars Program Semifinalists
Archmere Academy seniors Darren Luo and Daniel Qi have been named semifinalists in the prestigious U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, one of the nation's highest honors for high school students.
Darren and Daniel are among just 627 semifinalists selected from across the country in recognition of their exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and service. The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964 to recognize and honor some of the nation's most distinguished graduating seniors.
Semifinalists are evaluated on their academic success, personal characteristics, leadership accomplishments, and involvement in school and community activities. The program annually identifies students who have demonstrated excellence both inside and outside the classroom.
Being named a semifinalist places Darren and Daniel among an elite group of students nationwide and reflects their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence throughout their high school careers.
Congratulations to Darren and Daniel on this outstanding achievement! We wish them continued success as the Presidential Scholars selection process moves forward.
