Football Remains Undefeated with 22-7 Victory Over DMA
The Archmere football team continued its strong start to the season Friday night, earning a 22-7 victory over Delaware Military Academy on the road.
After a scoreless opening quarter, the Auks found their rhythm in the second quarter, scoring 15 points to take control of the game. Archmere added another touchdown in the third quarter, while the defense held DMA off the scoreboard until late in the fourth.
Shane Harding ’28 led the Auks on the ground with 97 rushing yards on 10 carries and two touchdowns. Luke Scott ’29 also found the end zone, while Wyatt Beekley ’28 added 58 rushing yards on 10 carries.
The Auks’ defense turned in another strong performance. Luke Luzader ’28 led the team with 13 tackles, while Frankie Morda ’27 recorded nine tackles and a fumble recovery. Kevin Kozicki ’28 added seven tackles and an interception.
Notable highlights also included a big night by Kevin Fox '28, who recorded 3 receptions for 30 yards, including a 2 point conversion and 4 tackles on defense.

With the win, Archmere improves to 3-0 on the season, following victories over St. Elizabeth and St. Mark’s.
The Auks will return to action on Saturday, October 3, at 11 a.m. when they travel to face Lake Forest.
