Archmere seniors Kathryn Fulda and Audrey Walker recently received their Girl Scout Gold Award. The gold award is the highest award that a Girl Scout may earn and it is achieved by less than 3% of scouts. For her project, Kathryn designed a science curriculum and an after school science club for students at The Pilot School. She created weekly lessons and hands-on experiments that she conducted with the children. For her project, Audrey worked to improve the library at Serviam Girls Academy. She collected a total of 1,136 books by holding book drives and attending book sales. She also organized and held a reading program for the students during their summer session that taught them the concepts of setting and point of view.
