This Fall Archmere and Salesianum are hosting sixteen students from the Kepler Gymnasium in Pforzheim Germany for three weeks. This is our fifth exchange with the Kepler school located at the edge of the Black Forest. Archmere is hosting eight girls and Salesianum is hosting the boys. The students attend classes during the day with their hosts, and experience family life in America in the evenings and on the weekends with their host families. While here in the United States the Kepler group will visit Washington, Philadelphia and New York City.

Mrs. Shirley Hornyak, German teacher at Salesianum, who co-chairs the German exchange and I, Sabine Banerjee-Wagner would like to
thank the following students and their families for hosting students:
Lisa and David Bice parents of Reagan Bice’15; Jackie and Joe Corsini parents of Maura Corsini’14; Susan and George Dramis parents of Kelsey Dramis’12; Elizabeth and Gerard Fulda parents of Grace Fulda’15; Betsy and Kurt Henjes parents of Leigh Henjes’13; Sue and John McBride parents of Patrick McBride’13; Beth and John Moore parents of Henry Moore’15; and Mary and Thomas Turek parents of Evan Turek’13.

We also would like to thank the faculty and staff of both schools for welcoming the students to our community. This exchange could not happen without your support. From all of us to all of you: Ein herzliches Dankeschön!
