Archmere Cross Country Runners Earn All County, All State Honors

The State Cross Country Banquet was held last night in New Castle. Junior Evan Guerin earned All County and 3rd Team All State Honors. Junior John Mascioli also earned All County selection and was named to the first team All State. John is the 8th male Auk runner in school history to be selected as a 1st Team All State choice. Senior Ali Hazel was All County and, like John, was a First Team All State choice, the 4th girl in school history to earn such a distinction. Seniors Amalia Brawley, Jack Byrnes and Connell Donaghy were honored as team MVPs. Congratulations to the Auk XC teams for a great season.
