Students Earn Distinguished Honors at 2012 National Scholastics Art Regionals
Seniors Elizabeth Barr and Alexa Hazel earned very distinguished honors at the 2012 Regionals of the National Scholastics Art Awards Program.
Liz Barr '12 and Ali Hazel '12 were named American Vision Nominees, which means their pieces were among the top 5 in the whole Regional show, and are eligible at the national level for a national American Visions Award. Liz earned recognition for her mixed media piece "Read Me," and Ali for her sculpture "A Plume of Smoke."
Liz Barr was also named an Honorary Congressional Winner for her piece titled "Personal Evolution."
