Ali Hazel '12 - Delaware’s Representative in UVA Scholarship Competition

Congratulations to Ali Hazel who is our nominee for the Jefferson Scholars Program at the University of Virginia. This scholarship is considered a “full ride” to the University. Nominees are chosen on the basis of leadership, scholarship and responsible citizenship. After a rigorous interview by the State Selection Committee, Ali has been chosen to represent Delaware at a weekend long competition this spring to be held at the University of Virginia. Over 3700 schools from across the nation and world were invited to nominate this year. These nominees will be competing for approximately thirty available scholarships.
