Archmere Names Alumni Kristin (Wasnewski) Mumford '96 & Andrew Cocco '04 to Admissions Team
Archmere announced today that Kristin B. (Wasnewski) Mumford ’96 has been named Director of Admissions for Archmere Academy effective July 1, 2012, and that Andrew P. Cocco '04, current faculty member, will be taking on the role of Associate Admissions Director.

Born and raised in Delaware and Pennsylvania, Kristen was graduated from Archmere Academy and received her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware in 2000. Having had a 12-year career in the pharmaceutical sales industry, Kristen developed industry award-winning sales and marketing skills as a professional account manager. She also maintained her life-long interest in tennis, and currently serves as volunteer assistant Varsity Men’s and Women’s Tennis coach at the University of Delaware. While at Archmere, Kristen played tennis and sang as a member of The Mastersingers. She is married to Mark and has two children, Meghan and Luke.
A native of Delaware County, Andrew is a 2004 graduate of Archmere, who attended Temple University Honors Program, College of Liberal Arts, and was awarded a B.A. in English and a B.A. in American Studies summa cum laude in both majors. He is currently an English teacher at Archmere and coach/moderator of the Forensics Club, and is completing his Master of Secondary Education degree at Cabrini College in the fall of 2012. Andrew will spend some of his professional time teaching English, and a portion of his workday will be dedicated to admissions work. Andrew is married to Ashley.
