Freshmen Earn Class Competition Known as The "Scripture Cup"

Mr. Kropp's freshman classes compete in what he calls the "Scripture Cup." This semester's champions are a team known as the "Four Evangelists". The team members are the following freshman students who have won the Fall Semester 2012 Scripture Cup Championship: Katherine Flanagan, Kathryn Hogan, Rachel Holmes, Kiki Lawlor, Joe McAlonan, Rebecca McBride, Greg McCord, Sami Mengers, Phil Miller, Jake Mottola, Sydney Murphy, Malcolm Odum, Hannah Palczuk, Megan Reynolds, Peter Sabini, Rahul Subbaraya, John Vaile, Mareike Van Wie, and Lauren Yoslov.

In the two 3-game rounds, they won all six of their "games" (i.e., quizzes and tests). They swept the best of three Finals, 2 games to none. Overall they were undefeated with 8 wins and no losses. They receivedcommemorative certificates and had their names placed on the Scripture Cup.
