Freshmen Hold a Food Drive for the Holidays

The freshmen religion classes held a food drive during the holiday season and sent non-perishable food items to the Emmanuel Dining Hall in Wilmington. The Emmanuel Dining Hall is also a shelter which can house up to 8 families at a time. It is staffed by the Franciscans and their volunteers and serves 2 meals a day 365 days a year to the very needy (unemployed, underemployed, marginalized and homeless).  Amanda Nielsen '16, Jenn Raphaelson '16, Sully Boulden '16 and Frances Buckley '16 and Mr. Ken Kropp delivered the food to Emmanual Hall. The class intends to have another frosh food drive during the spring.
