Math Teams Head to States, Students Earn Impressive Individual Scores

The ninth grade Math team of Greg McCord, Caleb Beard, Rahul Subbaraya, Peter Sabini, & Alec Giakas completed their wire-to-wire first place finish at the Feb. 5 Math meet. Greg finished first overall in the individual competition while Rahul finished third. State championship meet commences in April. Also, the 10th - 12th grade math league team finished its undefeated season with a convincing victory in yesterday's meet. Brian Zhang, Mark Melvin, Matt Oslin, and Kelcey Hutchinson all earned perfect scores. Brian, Mark, and Matt finished the season as the top 3 scorers in the region.
