Archmere Students Honored for High Scores on German National Exams

Five Archmere students were honored on April 27 for their high scores in the German National Exams at the Cannstatter Volksfest Verein in center city Philadelphia. This is an annual awards ceremony held by the Philadelphia & Delaware Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of German. Representing German level 2 was Zachary Pease’15, who placed in the 91st percentile and Kurt Clements ’15  who placed in the 86th percentile. Both received certificates. Representing German level 3 was Mareike Van Wie ’16 who placed in the 98th percentile and Matt Oslin ’15 who placed in the 91st percentile. Each received a Delaware Sängerbund Award. Representing German level 4 was Anna South ’15, who placed in the 98th percentile. She received the Antonie Ehrlich Award.
