On Friday, December 13, freshman Kaylie LeClerc, Grace Merritt and Jayniah Rothwell volunteered to gather the already collected non-perishable food items (12 bags total), loaded them into a school van and headed to the Emmanuel Dining Hall with Theology teacher, Ken Kropp. There they unloaded the van and were taken on a tour of the facility, which serves 2 meals daily to those who are in dire economic need (some are unemployed, or marginally employed, or homeless, etc.). It also serves as a shelter for domestic abuse victims.
