A 2009 graduate of the University of Delaware, Jessica currently works as a Marketing Manager at JPMorgan Chase. In the fall of 2013, Jess began attending Villanova University’s School of Business to work towards her MBA. As a current Council member, she has spearheaded the Young Alumnni Commitee over the past year and recently hosted a successful Young Alumni event at Twin Lakes Brewing Company. Jessica and her family are third generation attendees of Archmere. Jess is running for re-election to the Alumni Council.
Professional experience, educational background, and interests: Jessica is currently the Chair of the Young Alumni Committee for the Archmere Alumni Council.
Jessica graduated from Archmere Academy in 2005, and went on to attend the University of Delaware. As a student in their Honors Program, Jess double majored in Marketing and Management, with a minor in International Business and some additional coursework in Public Relations. During her undergrad career, she studied abroad in Italy and made the Dean’s List every semester. Jessica graduated in 2009. She currently attends graduate school at Villanova University, where she will graduate in 2015 with her Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
Jessica is currently a Manager in Operational Risk Management and Controls at JPMorgan Chase in their Card Services line of business, which is headquartered in Wilmington, DE. She has been working at Chase since 2008, when she was hired as a summer intern and then offered a full-time position within the company’s rotational program – the Chase Leadership Development Program (the CLDP). As part of the CLDP, Jessica rotated through 3 different roles over a period of 28 months: existing customer direct marketing, product marketing and branding, and finance. In the fall of 2011, she graduated from the CLDP as a top performer and joined the team responsible for Chase’s largest credit card portfolio. About a year later, at the end of 2012, she was promoted to Marketing Manager. In the spring of 2013, she took on a stretch role outside of marketing, in Risk & Controls, to expand the breadth of her knowledge.
Outside of her professional and academic career, Jessica is an avid runner and enjoys being with friends and family (many of whom are also Archmere graduates!), reading, and cooking. Jessica and her family are 3rd generation attendees of Archmere.
Candidate's Statement: I’m interested in another term with the Alumni Council to continue the work we’ve started in attracting Young Alums back to Archmere. As current Chair of the Young Alumni Committee, I was responsible for our first young alum specific event in many years – a weeknight social at Twin Lakes Brewery. With the help of the Alumni Relations Office and my Young Alumni Committee members, the event was a success. I am looking forward to developing other young alum specific programming in the coming years, and creating traditions that bring Young Alums back to the Archmere community year after year.
