A graduate of Gettysburg College and Widener University School of Law, Howard currently serves as an Assistant County Solicitor for Delaware County as well as an attorney in private practice. Howard and his family are third generation attendees of Archmere.
Professional experience, educational background, and interests: Howard Gallagher has been a practicing attorney in Delaware County, PA. for over 35 years. He is currently an Assistant County Solicitor for Delaware County, while continuing to maintain his private law practice. He is a former Assistant District Attorney of Delaware County, served 12 years as a Supervisor of Concord Township, is a member of the Media Lions Club and Olde St. Thomas Knights of Columbus, Council 11051. He is a 1967 graduate of Archmere Academy. He was selected by Coach John Walsh as the “Most Valuable Senior” on his football team, and represented Archmere Academy in the 1967 Blue/Gold All-Star Game.
He is a graduate of Gettysburg College and Widener University School of Law. Howard lives in Glen Mills, Concord Township, with his wife, MaryAlice, and two sons. Following the tradition begun by his father, Archmere Academy Class of 1940, his sons are 3rd generation attendees of Archmere Academy: Kevin, Class of 2011; Brian, Class of 2013.
Candidate's Statement: After re-connecting with Archmere Academy during my sons’ attendance over the the past six (6) years, I desire to maintain that connection. My experiences at Archmere Academy, and those of my sons, were positive, and I would like to be a resource in support of Archmere’s mission.
