Archmere Freshman Sings National Anthem, Honors Veterans
Archmere Freshman Danielle Cuoco was invited by 4 The Fallen and David Miller Baseball to perform The National Anthem at their first annual benefit Softball Benefit Tournament and Flag Ceremony honoring U.S. Air Force (Ret) Staff Sgt Nick Bradley. While on a Protective Services Mission in Afghanistan in 2008, Staff Sgt Bradley's vehicle was struck by 20lb of anti-tank IED and he sustained grave injuries.
Honored to sing at his Flag Ceremony and pay homage to this American hero, Danielle and her family have said that, "Of all the times that Danielle has performed the National Anthem at baseball games, 5k's, and other events over the years, this was by far the most meaningful for our entire family."
4 The Fallen is a non-profit which raises awareness for service members and police officers (and their families) who served and paid the ultimate sacrifice or who suffered life-altering disabilities. The group travels all over to promote awareness of the veterans of military and law enforcement agencies.
