A team of Archmere students won high honors at this year's national WordWright Challenge, a competition for high school students requiring close reading and analysis of prose and poetry.
Participating with 600 schools from across the country, Archmere's twelfth graders earned fourtheenth place in the year's first meet, held in October. Juniors Rahul Subbaraya and Jessica Zbranak and seniors Emily Dentinger and Savannah Quinn earned high individual honors at the meet, supervised by Archmere English teacher, Steve Klinge.
