Freedom Walk Dedication Ceremony- November 11, 2014
On November 11th, the Archmere community celebrated Veteran's Day by unveiling the Freedom Walk, which is comprised of commemorative bricks honoring alumni who have served or are serving in the branches of the United States Armed Forces. Additional bricks will be added to the Walk on an ongoing basis as more alumni servicemen and women are identified.
To be included in the Walk, please submit alumni name(s), class year(s) and branch of military service to alumni@archmereacademy.com.
The Class of 1962 also presented a commemorative bench in honor of their fallen classmate, Eugene J. Garrity ’62, Hospital Corpsman 3/C, USN
who was killed on February 23, 1969 while serving in Vietnam.
