Archmere Rugby Player Named Athlete of the Week
Archmere senior John Trusello was named WDEL's Athlete of the Week for his outstanding performances this rugby season. A multi-sport athlete, Trusello stars on both the football and rugby teams for Archmere Academy, and consistently rises to each new challenge.
"I'm going to give it my all every single time I go out on the field."
John will attend Drexel University next year, and plans on including rugby in his collegiate schedule at some point. Only in its third season, Archmere rugby was founded in 2013 by coach Andrew Cocco, current parent David Niumataiwalu and with help from science teacher and football coach John Bellace.
