RJ Malseed '08 Turns His Love for Horticulture Into a Career

Upon graduation with a degree in horticulture and greenhouse management, RJ had several job offers, including one from Burpee Seed. However, it was a phone call from Jerry Ambrogi ‘76, RJ’s high school football coach and owner of Ambrogi Foods in Paulsboro, New Jersey, that truly captured RJ’s attention. Jerry wanted to start a local farm that would sell directly to his distribution company, and he was looking for an individual to help start and run the farm. RJ jumped on the opportunity.
