Archmere Students Spend Ten Days in Spain

Sixteen Archmere students are enjoying a ten day exchange program in Zaragoza, Spain over Spring Break. During their visit, they participated in the famously known Semana Santa traditions, and also joined in on a cultural and historical tour of both Barcelona and Madrid. During one of their tours the students were able to see first hand the second-most visited pilgrimage destination in Spain after Santiago de Compostela, the "Catedral Basilica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar". The students are accompanied by World Language and Cultures Teachers Señorita María Calzado-Saavedra and Señora Leah Lightcap.
