Annie Martino '18 and Shreyas Parab '18 Earn Science Essay Awards

The DuPont Challenge, North America’s premier science essay competition, encourages students to delve into their interests in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and express themselves with creativity and purpose. This year, two Archmere students were recognized out of the several thousand entries across the United States and selected as award winners. Annie Martino '18 and Shreyas Parab '18 both earned Honorable Mention awards.

Annie and Shreyas were challenged to write an essay between 700 to 1,000 words in length, include a list of research sources, and describe their ideas for how science can help keep our global population supplied with food, safety, and clean energy.
