Review Written By Cappies Critic Lea Harlev '18 Published
The Cappies, "Critics and Awards Program," is a program through which high school theatre and journalism students are trained as critics, attend shows at other schools, write reviews, and publish those reviews in local newspapers such as The Washington Post, Cincinnati Enquirer, Dallas Morning News, Kansas City Star, and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Lea Harlev '18 is one of Archmere's five-member Cappies critic team. The Cappies critic team of students must attend five shows in the Greater Philadelphia Area and then write critical reviews of the shows that they see. Lea reviewed The Baldwin School's production of Into the Woods this past weekend, and her review was selected for publication for the second time this year. As a top review, her work will be published on Philly.com as well as on the Cappies website. Lea's published reviews place her in the running for the critic award for underclassmen.
