Lexi Kelly Named Athlete of the Week
Archmere junior Alexis (Lexi) Kelly was named WDEL's Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performances on the volleyball court. A multi-sport athlete, Lexi competes on both the volleyball and soccer teams for Archmere Academy, and consistently rises to each new challenge.
In a thrilling five set match against St. Mark's last week, Lexi was an integral part in earning the win, contributing 10 kills, 4 blocks, and 6 digs.
WDEL writes: Lexi's teammate Amy Thomson '18 says Lexi is one of the team's emotional leaders. "She adds so much. She's always singing on the court. She's always so excited, we love her, she's so much fun."
Lexi will be a key player this week as the Auks take on DMA on Tuesday and Ursuline for a Homecoming match on Friday evening.
