Archmere Soccer Coach Jon Jezyk Named Assistant Coach of the Year

Founded in 1941 and based in Kansas City, Mo., the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has grown into the world’s largest soccer coaches’ organization that serves members at every level of the game. Every year they recognize not only All-American and All-Regional soccer athletes, but also exceptional regional coaches. This year, Archmere's assistant soccer coachJon Jezyk, received the High School Assistant Coach of the Year Award. Mr. Jezyk also works as a Guidance Counselor at Archmere Academy.

Criteria for the Assistant Coach of the Year is as follows:
  • The nominee must be an NSCAA member in good standing
  • Nomination must come from the head coach
  • Integral contributor to the program’s success
  • Service to the school’s soccer program
  • Commitment to soccer education
  • Service to the soccer community
  • Player development
  • Development of off-season programs
  • Commitment to excellence
  • Service to the community
Coach Jezyk will receive a plaque in honor of his achievement.
