Former Archmere Coach Joe Moglia Inducted into Vince Lombardi Hall of Fame
Last weekend, Coastal Carolina head football coach Joe Moglia became a member of the Vince Lombardi Hall of Fame. Joe was a former Archmere teacher and football coach, and the building on campus that houses the Auks' gymnasium as well as weight and exercise rooms is named The Moglia Fieldhouse in his honor. Lombardi Hall of Fame members are selected to honor a career of outstanding leadership, character and resiliency in the Vince Lombardi mold. Past winners include the NFL Hall of Fame members Jerry Kramer (Green Bay Packers) and Anthony Munoz (Cincinnati Bengals), according to a press release from CCU.
Joe Moglia is a member of five other Halls of Fame including the Archmere Academy Sports Hall of Fame, the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame, Omaha Business Hall of Fame, Fordham Preparatory School Hall of Honor, and Fordham Preparatory Sports Hall of Fame.
