Monthly College Counseling Update: June 2017

Alumni Services

The Class of 2017 has been celebrated and their final transcripts have been forwarded to the schools to which they are enrolling. Alumni surveys will be sent to all members of the graduating class to evaluate our services and collect additional data to assist future Archmere students. It’s important to note that our services continue to be available to all graduates. Please contact us if you need any assistance with a transcript, navigating your way through your college years, or if you unfortunately need assistance with a potential transfer.

Summer Plans

The College Counseling Office will be staffed the entire summer. Rising juniors and seniors and their parents have received a checklist of recommended items to complete during the summer months in order to have a smooth a college search and selection as possible. If any students or parents have questions or would like to discuss something please call or email us.

Also this summer, Mr. Boehm and Ms. Souza will be very busy within our professional organizations and visiting colleges. Ms. Souza is attending and presenting at the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC) and will also serve as a faculty member for PACAC’s Summer Institute at Bucknell University. Mr. Boehm is serving of the Potomac Chesapeake Association for College Admission Counseling (PCACAC) Summer Institute faculty at Roanoke College. We also have plans to visit more than twenty colleges and universities in June, July, and August. Perhaps we will bump into some Archmere families!
