Nicole Kelly '18 Nominated for National American Vision Award

Archmere senior Nicole Kelly has been nominated for the 2018 distinguished national American Visions Award for her sculpture titled Abstract Figure. The American Vision is a “Best in Show” award that most exemplifes originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision. The Award recognizes the top individual work of art from each regional competition of the Scholarship Arts Award Program. Nicole is one of five student nominees from Delaware whose work has been recognized regionally. Her sculpture, Abstract Figure, has also received a regional gold key Scholastic Award.

As a nominee, Nicole's work will be celebrated in local exhibitions and ceremonies. From the pool of nominees, an esteemed panel of jurors in New York City then selects one artist from each region to receive the American Visions Medal. These Medalists are recognized at the National Ceremony and Art.Write.Now exhibition in New York City.
